"When in Doubt, Vaccinate!"

The American Animal Hospital Association just published the 2022 Canine Vaccination Guidelines and allege to "contain updates on recommended vaccination protocols based on age, lifestyle and the increasing prevalence of certain diseases such as leptospirosis".

After taking a look at these guidelines (You can find them here), they absolutely do not consider the age or lifestyle or dogs, when their tag line is "WHEN IN DOUBT, VACCINATE."

This is fundamentally flawed logic and does not actually consider the science that proves that once an animal has received a core vaccine, they typically have immunity for 7-15 years.  You can read more on this research here

So why are these guidelines recommending so many vaccines? Because the veterinary industry is in the business of keeping animals alive, not curing them or keeping them healthy. Vet schools are funded by the dog food guy, the dog food guy is also owned by the vaccine guy and the vaccine guy makes the laws on what makes what legal and what is approved. The dog food guy is also friends with the vet board guy because the vet board guy is funded by the vaccine guy.

Their agenda for your dog is not the same as yours.  If you want your dog to be healthy, ignore these guidelines and definitely do not vaccinate when in doubt.  When in doubt, ask your vet to do a titer test before giving any vaccine to determine if they have immunity or not.  If they have immunity, there is absolutely no reason to vaccinate.  If they don't have immunity, vaccinate only when your dog is feeling well and follow detox protocols to keep them healthy.  You can read more about detoxing your dog here.
